Thoughts on issues that matter

This means us | The upskilling elephant in the room

Training employees on sustainability topics can be hard.

We get this and we want to help.

We’re excited to tell you about the amazing new courses we’ve developed. But before we do, we thought we should first acknowledge the elephant in the room – that sustainable transformation is hard. Engaging employees on learning and development is challenging – even if it’s good for them and for your company.

What’s the secret ingredient
to fostering action?

Taking small actions and seeing others take action on climate helps us develop collective agency, suggests King’s College London neuroscientist Kris de Meyer.

At Kite, we took those lessons to heart when we designed our new e-learning courses.

  • Graphic-novel storytelling and real-world case studies enable learners to envision themselves as employees trying to bring about change.
  • Scenario-based questions based on real problems raise the emotional stakes and help people retain what they’ve learned.
  • Function-specific actions guide teams to act in their day-to-day roles, giving them a sense of hope, agency and purpose.

Tailored learning =
enhanced business performance

Each of these courses can be customised with case studies and examples from your industry or sector, to make them even more relevant and resonant to your people.

We’ve also partnered with our friends at Change by Degrees to offer a course that helps employees understand, comply with, and see fresh opportunities in the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, or CSRD.

These are complemented by our signature Kite Impact course (6h of e-learning on sustainability foundations) and Kite Compact course (1.5h of e-learning).
