Research & Thought Leadership

A research-led approach underpins everything we do.

Our research and thought leadership offering helps organisations make sense of the issues that matter to them and take a stance on them, whether that is through internal strategies or external content.

Our approach

Articulate
key questions
Design & Execute
research programmes
to provide answers
Translate
the results into content that speaks your audience’s language

What does this look like?

Research-led strategic advisory Explorations of emergent issues and burning questions for organisations, using research and our experience to unpack their implications and support the development of strategies and programmes.
Reports & whitepapers Comprehensive reports suitable for business leaders, policymakers, and expert practitioners.
Issue briefs & short-form content Distilling complex ideas and concept into short, visually-engaging content such as 5-6-page briefs or executive summaries designed for time-poor audiences to quickly engage with them.
Articles, blogs & multi-media content Short-form content to communicate research findings effectively. This includes short articles or blogs authored by leadership, for example, as well as content like videos and infographics.
Presentations & workshop materials Interactive formats for presenting research outcomes, fostering conversation, ideation and action. These could take the form of live events or workshop discussions. We often do this so leaders can discuss the implications of our findings and agree actions to take forward.

Research methods we employ

Through a range of research approaches, we help clients to articulate key questions, design and execute research programmes to provide answers, and translate the results into the content they need.

This might be an internally-facing briefing that helps your leaders to understand the implications of an emergent issue for the business. It could also be a published report that shares your insights on an issue of shared importance and helps establish your organisation as a thought leader on that topic.

Our work

Every Job is a Climate Job

Our in-depth research reached over 7,000 respondents from countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia, across 15 major industries, to assess employee knowledge of climate change and its impact on economies and society. The survey also gauged their willingness to take climate action at work, and their ability to do so today.

We merge a deep understanding and passion for the challenges facing our world today – spanning across environmental and social issues and their intersections – with an ability to speak the language of business and international organisations to present ideas in ways that resonate and provoke action.

We take a research-led approach to our work, ensuring that we start and push from the boundaries of existing knowledge in the content we produce, rather than add to the noise.

We are passionate about the power of ideas and stories to shift mindsets and drive collaborative action.

We’re also deeply embedded in the international sustainability space, particularly in Europe.

We’re present at global moments including the climate and biodiversity COPs, the World Economic Forum, London Climate Week, etc. Through our convening and other projects, we have relationships with hundreds of leading thinkers and practitioners in the private, public and civil society sectors.

Our advisory board is just the tip of the iceberg of the network of leaders and experts we can access.
